Anchoring Bias

Cognitive Bias入门

Definition

Over-relying on the first piece of information encountered (the "anchor") when making decisions.

Example

A store displays a very high "original price" then offers a discount. Even if the discounted price is still high, consumers feel they got a bargain.

如何避免

意识到"第一印象"可能在操控你。做重要决策时,多方比价、多渠道收集信息。
